Well Just a quick note to say thanks to Jesse for a great site. And thanks to Speck for the admin work on the first and hopefully not last Hamslam.
JHO'rs are some real fine people.
Hey fairchase sorry you couldn't make it, I saw some pigs in the same spot you got yours last time. I left them there for you next time. lol, Besides there being no way I could have gotten up there.

No pigs this time but the new guy Barry is already trying to figure where to deer hunt! I think he is hooked.
Anyway thanks again it was great.

Hey People, I have the proto type for the movie I said I was going to make. It really is turning out nice, but it pertains only to me, Russman66, and his brother. I'm going to try to use some of the pics from this site but if anyone has digital pics and wants to send me them, I put them in. Anyone that sends me three pics will recieve a free copy of the movie provided they send an address to mail the movie to. If anyone took any mpgs I could use those too.

I am makeing Video CD's. I've played the proto type on my computer and on my portable dvd player. It works well on both.

Hope to here from you all soon.

my e-mail is bclay@mwdh2o.com

Bearmage,

Do you have a size limit you want for those pictures? Let me know what works best for you and I'll get some to you ASAP. Hope you haven't finished the CD yet.

Bear:

I did get mpg's, barely. Probably 6 mpg's. 10 highway, 4 around the ranch. At the ranch it was mostly uphill. Very little downhill driving.

The better the quality (picsils) the better it will look but I haven't found a pic that looks bad yet. And I'll take the mpgs as well. They break up the static pics in the vedeo well. I can even split them up to make them go further (hehe) It is looking nice so far. I've gotten all the pics from this forum and am starting to incorporate them into the proto type. With a few more pics and those mpgs I think it will make it a good keepsake for years later reflections. If Speck reads this, I'd like a list of all the web site names and if possible thier real names. I'll place them in the opening scrolling credits.

Can't wait, Bear!

By the way, I added a couple of pix to the JHO Photo Gallery. I didn't have as many as I thought, though.

I think this read brought me back to reality. I might just have to do something about these good time with all my brothers for this year. Speck, you just might be hearing from me. We will see how I can sell it to the wife tomorrow after the wiskey wears off.

The anual pass didn't happen for the first time in years due to sinching of the belt for a new boat but Tejon withdrawls are a heavy burden to carry. Maybe it's a good time for a fix.

C'mon down, Superduty! Still lots of open slots for June.

I just got a call from Barbara in regards to the application response, and I had to tell her, sadly, that it's far from what we saw last year. At this point, it's looking like we'll only have about 20-25 hunters instead of the full complement of 50.

Oh well... the hunt will go on, but if you guys are interested, there are still a couple of weeks left to sign up.

Speck,
Have you mailed out my info packet yet? It's still up in the air for me, but I'll know actually this Friday if I can make it for sure. If so, I want to make sure I get them returned to you soon enough.

Mel,

I'm sending out some packets tomorrow and Friday. Yours will be included.

My computer woes slowed down the distribution, so I have to apologize for that. I'm in the process of fixing all that and my data was rescued.

Fortunately, I found a way to get on from work, so at least I can keep up on the forum.... shhhh.

Can't wait. Speck, you should get my app soon. Four of us for sure:

One Track
Buckeye
and two other guys from the far southwest.

Can't wait. Considering going with the bow.

Speck,

What time are we allowed to be at the gate come Friday? I'm assuming by noon. Got new BFG Mud shoes on my rig today, so my truck is ready for those nasty tejon hills. I'm to darn ready for this one. Gonna throw my BBQ in the back of the truck and bring it on down. I have about 40 pounds of link sausage from that pig I shot 2 weeks ago. I'll bring that and anyone who wants to grub on it is welcomed to. I'll have the same set-up as I did in Niland for the JHO Pheasant Hunt. Pitdog had a few....

Hoghunter,

Gate time is officially noon. Need to be at the Tejon Office before that for check-in and "orientation".

Hopefully by June we won't need the mudders. Of course with the weather this year, it's hard to say, but I'd be more concerned about something that will hold up to sharp rocks and hard ruts.

And lots of rope.

Always remember the rope.

OneTrack... got your app and an extra THANKS. That was unnecessary, but certainly appreciated.

I also got Buckeye's app. Are the other fellas sending theirs in separate, or do I need to go through your envelope again?

Dunno about the bow. I know it's doable at Tejon if you're willing to get in the right spot at the right time... but I sure like having those extra couple hundred yards of range. Ran mine right to the wire last year.

Boy howdy, but I'm gettin' the itch!

Speck,
How does it work if I want to bring a non-hunting guest? I'm thinking my son, just incase I need help getting one out. Do I just pay twice for the insurance? Please let me know.

Thanks,
