Well, as no surprise to many that already know the golden algae threw us a left hook again this year. Granbury and Possum Kingdom seem to be hit pretty hard. I was up at Whitney the past few weekends and saw evidence of fish kill there also, though I'm not sure if it was the algae or not. It did seem to be the same species of fish that were affected at Granbury and PK.

I was just wondering how everyone else was faring and if you have gotten into and Sand Bass yet? I'm going to try the Brazos this weekend north of Granbury. Hopefully the water has been moving enough that the fish will still be kickn'. We'll see...... Happy Fishing!! Chad

The sand bass are doing okay so far. A bit slow still. Caught a few out on Eagle Mtn lake last weekend. Am going to try again today down at the river. I hear they are running pretty strong. Hopefully they are.

Congrats, everyone around here is saying that the fishing on the river is pretty good. I actually made an attempt at fishing this morning, but I had motor problems. This is the first time my motor has ever given me problems. I think it is the carb. I'm going to drop it off at the shop in the morning. We'll see.....

I may have to "beg" my neighbor to take me out in his new Skeeter this next weekend.
