CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Dove season opens on Saturday (Sept. 1) and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) reminds dove hunters that they may not legally hunt in two states on the same day and fill both states' hunting limits on doves.
According to Title 50 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 20.11, the aggregate daily bag limit is equal to, but shall not exceed, the largest daily bag limit prescribed for any one species or for any one specified geographic area in which taking occurs.
