Hey everyone.
I'm wanting to learn about hunting and would like to come along on a hunt. Any hunt, deer, squirrel, wild boar, elk, sheep (do we have bighorn/dall sheep here?) whatever.
I would be able (and want!) to help field dress the animal, carry it back to your vehicle, butcher it, or whatever else needs to be done. I will haul your 40 pound ruck for 10 miles into and out of a canyon so you can be free to glass and shoot.
I will not ask for anything, except for some skills learned. Hopefully if you liked my work ethic and enthusiasm, you might cut me in for a venison steak or two. I do not have much money, so I can't really put too much in - thus the reason for not having a membership at the Bull Moose Hunting Society. I am (at the moment) vehicle-less but would be willing to pay for gas.
I do have my own equipment, but not much in the way of hunting specific (just your basic backpacking pack, a good pair of boots, some warm wool clothing, 8mm bolt action/.30-30 lever action, etc).
