First off let me say a huge THANKS for doing what you are doing and i love the quote at the bottom of your page, too bad everybody can't comprehend that. Second I think that if somebody has some connections to some good private property they should invite you along for the sacrafice that you and your family are making. If i did I would in a heartbeat. Lastly I'm over here in SLO going to Cal Poly so i don't really have much free time to hunt but if i do a hunt during that time possibly at Camp Roberts or Hunter Ligget then I will extend out an invite.

Welcome back Ixtrail1

Check out Vandenburg AFB its not to far and it has great pig and deer hunting. Check out a past thread about public land hunting on the Charizo plain ''the few the proud Charizo pig killier's" . There was also a thread that showed some good sized hogs killed in the Ventenea (sp ?) wilderness in the Los Padres Natl Forest. Has you may well know only 5% of Cal pigs are at least recorded to be killed on public land. For sure check out Vandenburg.
