Hunting D7

Trying D7 this year for the first time after no luck last year and I was curious how successful people have been. I found an spot I'm going to check out but I know nothing about the area so any advice or tips would be super helpful. Scouting might be tough so I probably wont be able to spend time before I head up there.

This year is very dry. Water will be important.

one of if not the lowest success rate. that means more scouting than usual.

Ditto the above and the burn last really has really affected the area as well.

Scouting might be tough so I probably wont be able to spend time before I head up there.

This will be your downfall, the guys that put the time in often times get a deer. But some deer hunters do get lucky eventually.

I know its going to be harder without scouting but I'm a full time student so getting anywhere is tough enough. Not expecting much but hopefully I can get lucky
