I may be wrong but I was unaware of any BLM in that area that does not allow a rifle. Why would you not carry your 300 mag? I have taken pigs from 10 yards to 300 yards and while the 10 yard shot would have been OK with the shotgun the 300 yard shots would not have been possible. Now if you are really going to FHL then I understand the shotgun or the possible need for it.

Interesting :"with my copper 45ACP cartridges for my pistol and my copper 12 gauge slugs"
Very good archery equipment. LOL. This guy is a number!!!! Does he really exist?

I can see why none of your friends (if you have any) ever wants to go hunting with you.

You do not seem to comprehend meaning very well.

The 45 is for two legged predators. And yes, it is fairly easy to order solid copper cartridges for it.

And the shotgun is for the piggies.

Why would you buy more than 1 tag, when you can always go back to Big 5 and get another one later ???
because maybe you can kill more than one at a time. I always carry five.

I always have 2. Even though I hunt solo. You never know when the opportunity arises.
As for carrying a shotgun to hunt pigs with... Who the hell cares what he's hunting with so long as he can make a successful shot? As long as you don't maim one it seems fine by me. Maybe he likes a challenge? If anything it means more pigs for us right?
I'm trying to go after them with a bow.

Well hks I just remembered an area that does not allow rifles so I think you do need the shotgun and not the rifle. Hey my excuse is I have not lived there for 7 years now and I am getting old and have CRS. :smiley_doh: Good luck and do not get too far down the hill if it is a big pig. Packing deer out of those canyons was work for 2 guys and a big hog with one guy could really be a struggle.

Well, as long as he can give it the "hammered 5 or 69..." I think he will be fine....

Bruce, please take note, that that particular post was more of an advisement for others to get out there and get them; the picture was only utilized as supporting evidence. But hey, if you feel like I'm rubbing your nose in it,:rotflmao:, I'll remember to do it EVERY CHANCE I GET.

Wait just a minute there little buddy, as I recall, you had the opportunity to out do me, didn't you!

Well, the packing is already done. In fact, they are already butchered, vac sealed, and frozen. But, my packing method is a propriatary secret.

Thanks, and thanks again.
