I will be coming out to Ca in 2 weeks. Can i get the proper tags and license via mail before i get out there? if not, is there a place that is open late friday night that i can get them so i am ready saterday morn? I am flying into LA and driving to Paso Robles friday evening.

I recommend calling the DFG and asking them directly. I believe you can get your license in that time frame, but you'll need to make sure.

when i went out last summer i stopped at one of the sporting goods stores who told me they had non resident liscences. when i got there they had the next years( i went in early june). fortunatley dfg was right down the street and i could get one.if you can get it online or order it with a credit card great, if not find out where the nearest f&g office is going to be so you can pick it up.
