October's photo contest theme is Hunting scenes from the field. They can be photos of before, during, or after the hunt. This can also include locations where you fish, camp, or hike. Just give us a taste of your domain when you are outdoors.

Jesse will provide the winner with a spudz lens cloth, and either a 128MB memory card of their choice or a memory card reader.
<

The Contest starts now and will run until 10:00 PM (CST) Oct 31st (halloween)
Post all photos into this thread. Please reference the Rules and Protocol for the contest guidelines. If anyone has any questions, you can post here, email me, or even start a new thread if you feel that it is necessary. Good luck everyone, this should be a good contest to get a glimpse of everyone's environment.

Here's my grandfather and his buddy's celebrating a success trip...Lacrosse, Wisconsin, 1938. Of all the hunting & killing this man did, he only kept one lone shed antler, a 5 pt w/ crab claws....wish i knew the story behind that one.

Here is the main South view from my opening day treestand. It is called the "Helicopter Stand" because it is almost 30 feet high, and you can see hundreds of yards to the East, South and West.

I have seen bucks opening morning from this stand for 5 years straight, and have harvest 2 nice ones.

This photo was taken with a disposable camera, while a light snow was falling.

This is the view from our most productive treestand. The woods across the marsh is State land, and gets a lot of hunters. The woods to the right side, is our private woods. THere is a beaver dam that runs across the middle of this swamp (can't see it in picture because of grass)

The bucks run along the bottom of the beaver dam, on the side that faces this tree stand, Most of the shots are 150-250 yards, but the guy who hunts this, gets a buck nearly every opening weekend.

There are a lot of great shots, a little more than a week left, so get them in.

TNhunter, I've seen you post that one before. Very impressed with that composition and your pic quality. What camera were you shooting?
