There have been a couple of posts recently wondering what Deedy has been up to. So, as I was talking with her tonight she asked me to post a picture of a hog we took a couple of days ago at her place to let everyone know all is well and there are lots of hogs around. I've been helping her out with some hunts lately and as most of you know, she has a great resort and some really nice properties that are full of hogs. We caught this guy as the sun was setting so by the time we got to taking a picture the flash washed everything out. Maybe Deedy can post a pic of his head in the sunlight. He's a really good looking hog with nice coloring, thick armor, and big chompers pushing 4 inches. Deer season is over and the big boars are out this time of year. I've caught 4 boars in 2 hunts and 3 of them were big tuskers. I love this time of year!

Couldn't agree with you more for a good time for tuskers. I am headed out this weekend to get one or two myself! Those are one hell of a set of cutters on that bad boy! Great job!

Awsome beast! Sounds like a nice place, never knew hogs were that close to me (Palm Springs) I think Deedys would be a good place to devirginize me with my first Hog!

Hi, that is for guided rifle hunts which I believe are at or near 100% success rate. Not such a bad deal! There are also unguided hunts and archery hunts for quite a bit less. For example 2 pigs unguided archery for the weekend = $500 or $200 per day for 1 pig.

Congrats on the pigs at Bryson guys! Nice ones! I'll be up there in 3 weeks with my buddies from Nevada, we're going unguided archery and hope to stick a nice one!

Not busting anyones &^%$ here but I have hunted for a few hundred less than that with lodging included, but to be honest it's a personal preferance as to who and where you hunt. Some like the area some like the camp and others just like the guides. Nice st on that hog no matter what.

Glad to hear the success stories.

As to the cost of the hunt... check around. The days of the $400 guided pig hunt are rapidly disappearing.

Just the price of fuel alone makes it nearly impossible to run any cheap hunts. You'll definately have a quality hunt with Deedy and not just get pushed through your hunt like cattle at the auction. She also offers unguided/semi-guided hunts too at reduced rates. I saw a herd of 40-50 a couple of days ago when I left so you definately have a chance of connecting on your own too. Turkey season is another great reason to visit. Give her a call and she'll fill you in on the details.

We did go with a full mount, not quite sure where the heck I'll put this one- but it'll be a dandy!
