Bob.. There is a season and bag limit on javelina's though.. Unless it is under a high-fence, then it might change the rules some..
Feral pigs are considered exotic just like aoudad sheep. No state bag or possession limits and no closed season.... All you need is permission to hunt and a valid hunting license...
scruffnbeez... your not going to find any land in Texas that is not fenced off. Mainly because most of the land is farm land and used for cattle or agricultural purposes.. My uncles ranch is over 30,000 acres and every bit of it is fenced.. Come to think of it, it seems I built most of that fence when I was a kid!
