The picture below is from a week ago. This was a very unusual hunt for me. Normally I run hunts with 4-6 people, but huntingbret arranged this hunt with me last year before my business was really even up and running. Bret wanted to take his neighbor hunting. Thanks Bret for messaging me back then. I was glad to follow through on my word and do this hunt for you and your neighbor.

A typical hunt that I guide has a bigger group of "pushers" that walk (aka "push") through the thick brush and bushes and tend to spook the pigs out of their bedding areas, and there are usually enough hunters in the group to have some "blockers" nearby that can block the pigs and get shot opportunities. With only three of us on this hunt it was a bit more of a challenge and me and Bret definitely did our fair share of running... It was exciting though, and it was a successful hunt in the end!

Haha yea, rifles. One boar was 166 lbs and one was 150. Probably from the same litter! Actually the heavier one had a lot bigger tusks actually so maybe it was older.

I think huntingbret is the little guy and the big guy that looks like he's hiding a club behind him was the neighbor.

Congrats guys.

LOL such funny comments. Thanks to Eric for an awesome time. My neighbor had a blast out there even though he missed his shots at a couple pigs. The main thing about this hunt was to put my neighbor (yes the big guy) on a pig and Eric was successful in doing that. With him shooting a pig would just be the icing on a great cake already. Anyhow, it was an awesome hunt again and I look forward to hunting with Eric's service again. Oh and the best part about the hunt was that it's only a 30 minutes drive away from home. You just can't beat that!

I forgot to mention that with all the running that I did after the pigs, I was sore for a good two days. LOL Yes, I'm crazy for chasing pigs with tusks but that's me.

LOL slanttop, unfortunately you got the wrong Bret. I'm sure it was just a spitting image of me as I have lived in Fresno all my life. That's funny cause you are not the first and I'm sure you won't be the last to tell me that.

Just want to say that if any of the local hunters want a different guide experience close to home, check out cottonwood hunting. I know that Eric will put you on a pig or two or even three.
