I have searched high and low to find out about what the shooting regs are in Riverside County, and got the run around yesterday on the phone, but found the guidelines, so I thought that I would post it for everyone in and around the county whom want to hunt in Riverside, the laws are pretty lax with a major exception. 300 yards from a building or road in the county is the main thing, also there is an east/west county separation. West of about Banning/Beaumont and Hemet, (the populated area of the county) rifles are not legal within a mile of incorporated city, shotgun only. There is a no shooting area in the old dairy land north and west on Corona. On the west end of the county it was hunting only I believe. Not much was stated about the east end of the county, but here is the link for it. Unfortunately, there is no map like in San Bernardino nor San Diego, but the code is short enough to print and carry with you.
