I got drawn!!!!

Got home tonight and the wife thought I was nuts. I was going through the mail and as soon as I saw that Grizzly Island Wildlife Area on the return address area of the envelope I knew what it was. I was doing a nice little dance. I called my buddy that got drawn a few years ago and missed that we will have revenge! I got April 9-10. WOOOOHOOO!!!!

It's a shotgun with slugs only hunt. Dogs can be used.

Thanks guys. I called my buddy and he said he wants to tag along and be gun bearer this time. After last time when I was gun bearer for him at what happened I think I won't get too far from the truck!!!

This waterfowl season, I was driving along and spotted a huge black boar near the joice island entrance. Please turn him in to sausage. He gave me attitude as I drove by.

Good job on the draw. I remember reading your hunt story some time back.

I was raised in Fairfield and spent some time out there as a kid. We used to ride our bikes out there alot. Not many hogs in those days but did get in some good fishing.

I have thought about putting in for the hunt since they started the draw but have never got around to it.

I have put in for that hunt the last few years it has been offered and never have been drawn.
I've even had my junior hunter son apply and he hasn't drawn.
