My buddy's got one, it wreaks havoc on hogs out to about 150 yards. What are you shooting, 400 grain bullets? Should be a good gun when you get in the thick stuff up in BD.

Great rifle to tear down that dead oak tree in the back yard but kinda light for hogs . ;^)

All I gotta say is the wait is killing me...I need to get some boxes of Hornady's, and a decelerator pad, and some time to get it broken in...They I hope to hit Tejon, but the new rancho and old rancho and kids are sucking every bit of extra time into their vortex. I'm sure you all know what that's like.

As for reports - I'm sure just about all of you will hear them, along with the angry people at the range..(Los Altos Rod and Gun Club)

Rancho loco........I'd LOVE to see those pics. Bring em on........

We might need to talk.........ever hear of a Sampson (my personal favorite) long tom gun? 3/8" thick stainless spring steel shaft 5' long, no drop in trajectory for 30 feet? Heck of a thing to load but will go thru boulders. I'll send you a pic of that (and the rest of my guns if you'd like). Send me a PM with your email and we can trade pics/stories, whatever.....later.

Hey! You spearfishermen are using the wrong forum!

Kidding.. kidding... just kidding.

Seriously, I'm itching to start spearfishing again too, but don't have a clue about CA spearfishing (where to go, what to shoot/not shoot, etc.). If ya'll wanted to clue me in... it'd be fun to join up for a dive sometime.

Back to topic... Rancho, are you planning to use that cannon at the Tejon April hunt?
