Congrats, I hope to be where you are next season after my first elk.

Nice steaks too, where did you get that dvd, I am decent at butchering but your cuts are impeccable.

I helped a guy pack one out in Co the first time I went. We didn't have backpacks, but used saddle panniers over our shoulders. Four trips each, and my arms were numb for a day afterward!

Awesome job Archer! Congrats. I'm now where you were a year ago - trying to learn everything I can with the goal of hunting elk for the first time next year.
