I crap you not, under the headline, the first sentence reads as follows. "June is the month to celebrate dad, Pride Month and being a hunter!" Now I'm all for celebrating being a hunter, sportsman and our parents/generational ties, but for the life of me I fail to understand why we should be proud of our sexual orientations or for that matter what being a member of the alphabet mafia has to do with the culture of the hunting/outdoors life style.
We should celebrate ethical and sustainable hunting practices, we should definitely observe the importance of sharing these principles and the life style of being a hunter, angler or sportsman with our families but what does this have to do with who we bump uglies with or what obscure pronoun format we choose to embrace?
I love the hunting here, I love hiking, I love the outdoors here but I'm really getting sick of having these ridiculous agendas shoved down my throat by my local government. I don't give two craps about who you're banging, or what you call yourself.
I suppose that makes me a hate mongering bigot, especially in my home state of Commiefornia but quite seriously F#$% the CDFW for hopping on the bandwagon with this trash.
