She'd be a keeper even IF she was butt ugly (which she is FAR from being, HUBBA HUBBA). If you ain't gonna marry her please let the single guys here know right away (I married my keeper almost 26 years ago).

She's a keeper all right. My wife won't even eat the game I bring home, much less go with me. You are a lucky man. Also, you are both tougher than me by eating ground squirells. I've eaten red and gray ones, but the ground ones are like rats. You must have been really hungry!! Congrats again

Yep I would say she is a keeper. If she is willing to eat ground squirrel and gut her own pig then say I do and keep her happy. I dont think I would ever want to eat a ground squirrel, it's just not for me. My favorite hunting partner is my wife of ten years and hopefully soon my kids (all girls). And they can be just as good out hunting as any guy. Congrats on the great find.

heck of a girl aimsmall.

Just an FYI on handling ground squirrels and deer mice. We get advisories all the time at work about the Hantavirus and bubonic plague the ground squirrels carry in the southwest. San Bernardino Co. closes several parks in the mtns each year because their testing shows a bunch with the plague. You won't catch me handling either rodent as there is no cure for Hantavirus. That includes their droppings and pee too.

mmmmmmmmm..... droppings and pee..... sounds DELICIOUS!!! Count me in...

Seriously, though... way to go, bro! Her pic and the story reminds me a little of Eva Longoria... now THAT's MY Dreamgirl...

A little private ranch in Fresno... huh? Since you're NEW to JHO and all, and since I KNOW THE SECRET HANDSHAKE (Just realized tonight that i finally passed the big five-00.... wooo hoooo!) I wouldn't mind showing you arround the website for a little private land access... he he he....

You should get her on here too. She'd improve the image of the average hog hunter

Jesse - can you elaborate a little more on this Hantavirus... is it just on groud squirrel only or red and grey squirrel also. Since grey squirrel is a game animal, I'm sure DFG would say something.

Thanks.

-Aimsmall- welcome aboard
What you have there is beyond being a winner of SuperLotto... although the money would be great but what is good if you can't share it with the one you love. So, being broke but have the time of your life with your significant other who actually loves and enjoy the same sport is PRICELESS. Wish you both well in your future hunts.

-Killzone- from the picture, look like that ranch area must be in the Squaw Valley or Auberry area. Aimsmall can chip in if I'm wrong.

If you ever break up let me know. I'd love to have a great looking wife like that and be able to do some of the share of cleaning. Congrats to her on a nice kill.

Thanks guys for all the responses, she too also really appreciates it. The acknowledgments on this website are great she can't relate hunting with any of her family or friends. As we all know trying to tell a hunting story to a non-hunter 9 times out of 10 they just look at you with a bewildered face. So again, thanks and hopefully she will have another story in the near future to tell.

Yeah, I'ld keep that.

Wait. Aimsmall, you didn't make this whole thing up did you? It sounds too good to be true. In any case, I'm jealous. Congrats to you and to your girlfriend on her hunting success.
