How's the Elk hunting in Idaho. My buddies and I are looking to go out of state for elk. I only thought of Idaho because I have a couple of college friends that are game wardens in Idaho and figured they might be able to help, but if the hunting kinda sucks then we'll look elsewhere. Thanks.

Go the Idaho Game and Fish website. They have a Hunt Planner on the site that will give all the info you will ever want about every unit. Very nice feature. Also, remember when you are in Idaho, you are either going uphill or downhill. Rarely on level ground! HA!
