my family just moved to southern idaho and are looking to hunt elk. they've hunted nw colorado for years, but plan on doing idaho once the preference points are gone. if anyone has some insight and wouldn't mind dropping me a pm, it would be appreciated.

Depending where you are In So.Idaho you could go over to Driggs.If you are up by Boise I would reccomend Beaver Creek.

Go up by Salmon or Challis area and enjoy. Lots of wolves around there though. In the desert areas there are some big bulls also.
