If you could only purchase one piece of photographic equipment, and you were not hindered by price, what would you choose? New camera, new lens, speciality item such as underwater housing, studio equipment such as umbrellas or other lighting?
I think for me, I would stick with my existing camera body ( 20D ) and compliment it with a 400mm/f2.8 prime lens for wildlife. I would be tempted to get a higher megapixel and better performing body, but my existing body shoots a good enough photo. My biggest need/want that is constrained by price is a good lens that performs well in low light, and has some long reach. The canon 400mm/f2.8 costs about 6,500
