im outta here boys and gals. on the road in 1/2 hour to the northside unit hope to bag me all three big game animals i have tags for. bear Mt lion and a elk. Easymoney i see your rig i will stop and say hey even help ya pack out an animal if you need it. good luck to yall ill be back the 24th.

wmidbrook what about the NM tag???? Which arm? Have the dock set the cast with a slightly bent elbow and you are in!!! That sucks. Good luck with whatever happens. Ed F

Yeah, I'm depressed about the 16C tag. I've got a call into Pat Block @ NMFG. He returns next Monday and is the only one with the power to give me a temp Mobility Impaired Card. I'd get to shoot a crossbow if that happens.

I've had the bow lowered to it's lowest level of poundage....My left arm is in a cast almost up to my elbow from the ER room last Friday and I can almost draw but then the pain sets in...arg!!!!

I took my bow grip with me to the hospital and they wouldn't cast my arm (was in Mammoth Hospital) with the bow grip but did reinforce it.

It's $500 cash to the local Ortho doc to try to do a custom cast with my bow grip...no guarantees it will work. I have to go in for a consultation first tomorrow or next day. I might wait 'til next week to have that done if I do it....not sure it would be worth compounded arthritic problems later in life.

back with no luck shot at a half rack 5x spike and missed low. that was the only one i saw the two weeks i was there no bugles back i think all the newbies out there from day one bugling and cow calling got them all educated that the cow down yander has an arrow with his name on it. did call in a 200 lb black bear to within 10 yards of me and 5 to my dad all we had was a 22 long rifle for grouse what a bummer the day before i took a head shot at 75 yards with my 243 and was used the 22 missed high i was pissed

but eh even saw a big tom cat running up the other side of a gully i was hunting dad was in the rig up the hill with the rifle so i ran like a raped ape but that cat was gone maybe the late season ill get lucky but with school and all day and a night job to pay for it doubt ill hae time hope yall had better luck
