Independence Cow Elk Hunt - Guide or Help

I was lucky enough to draw an Independence 5 Cow Elk tag as an alternate. Unfortunately, I am thin on available days I can get up there due to time I have taken off (work) already this year. I will probably only be able to hunt one of the weekends and maybe a Friday.

I have gone through the large list of guides on the DFG website and I did not see any guides for elk in that area. If anyone knows a guide or maybe just general guidance for that area, I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Did you look at Jerry's Hunting Guide Service? He is on Facebook but I can't link it for ya as I don't do FB.

Hopefully you can get some good info from this and do a DIY hunt, save your self a good chunk of change. 7 days and counting and only 2 members respond don't look good, any way good luck LVhunter.
