We are two mid forties, experienced Ohio Deer Hunters who are looking for a quality MuzzleloadL Elk hunt. We have been searching the web and local expos but still have not found the right guide. We are looking for a personal recomendation from someone who has been there before us. We are looking for a good quality true ML Elk hunt not a fly by nighter or the most luxjurious just good quality from a reputable outfitter. A couple of Friends,hunted with Tuffy Barnett of Mangas Outfitters in New Mexico this past Fall,using a "Smokepole",Rance Spurlock took a 390" bull.I talked to Tuffy this past month at a local "SCI" banguet,and He seems to be a STRAIGHT SHOOTER.Go to this site www.mangasoutfitters.com New Mexico has landowner elk tags and a limited draw system,the Draw deadline is April 9th in N.M.
