Hello I am a new waterfowl hunter in California I am looking for information on if it’s okay to waterfowl hunt or if anyone has hunted for waterfowl at Sugar Pine Reservoir in Forest Hill, California which is right in the tahoe national forest I want to know if it is legal or if it’s allowed in the off season (April-October) when no one will be there to camp or do any other activities at the few different campgrounds around the lake I have not seen no hunting signs or anything saying that it’s prohibited so I was just wondering if anyone had any information on it and anything would help a lot everything I’ve read and seen online points to it being cool especially on the very far side of the lake there’s a inlet creek type of thing we’re no campsites or anything is at it’s not private land it’s public and it’s ran and managed by the Tahoe national forest service people as far as I know from all the research I’ve done I go there a lot in the summer months to fish and camp I know the area and lake very well just wanted to know if I could waterfowl hunt there I’ve seen waterfowl there in the warmer months of the year any information on this would be very helpful thank you
