True enough although they do have plans to get leased land in Cal by 2010. Of course they would have to compete for land with WU and Golden Ram. i am checking them out and will get back to this thread with more info. has us poor Cal hunters know the hunters back east have a lot more deer for example more deer are harvested in Wisconsin then we have in the whole state but public land back east can get rather crowded although not so bad during archery season. Its a tough decision to hunt out of state vs going local living in LA. We just don't have the big game Members that other states have and its hard and expensive to drive out and scout and mulies are hard to pattern then again thats how some guys get big mullies even in LA County. I have been a member of WU and blew a couple of chances to shoot a pig and a bear but hey thats hunting. I have hunted in Kentucky and managed to blow an archery shot on a doe and there was a ton of deer and some bear sign the whitetails were just smarter then me. I just keep thinking that there are greener pastures in other states plus elk hunting is expensive no matter what if one is going on private land but maybe the costs are reasonable. Tough decisions.

Thanks;
