OK, its been DEAD in here for far too long. Where did everybody go, wabbit hunting??

Personally, I have turkey on the brain. This is the earliest it has hit me, ever, but I am ready for some birds.

I wanna go look for sheds, but am catching up on the honey-do list, and gotta go to Arizona for a few days, so perhaps late FEB I will get to go.

So has anyone bought their shells for turkey season yet? I might this week....

Walked around for 3 or 4 hours last Sunday on some Conservation Ground, during the 70 degree weather, looking for sheds or whatever and played with GPS and the WASS system (1st time I recieved WASS on it)

Got a tick, seen 3 deer, no turks, 1 squirrel?, 1 covey of Quail (about 8 to 10 birds), 2 bats zipping around, and an Armadillo growled at my wife, who screamed, and it ran toward me but I never seen the vicious creature

I'm busy catching up on all the things I put off before & during deer season.

Plus, I've been tending to the care of my firearms. AND, I bought a reloader a week ago, so now I can start learning to reload some of my own shells.

In the last week, I've been watching a flock of 18 turkey's. I haven't been out looking for sheds, lately. I've got a home-made antler trap set up, but none there yet, either.

Last Thursday, I saw 10 deer. Two of them were bucks, for sure. They were still sporting their headgear!
