its affecting my scouting. my hunt area is in the Tiller Fire Complex. its not the biggest fire we have but its a pain in my ass cause they have shut all access roads to the wilderness area. but im remaining optimistic that with the cooler weather that they will be able to get an upper hand on the fires there and around the rest of the state. hopefully it will be open by the 24th for bow season opener.
personally i dont think this fire season is really as bad as they try to portray it in the media. yes alot of acreage has burned but nothing of any real value. just lots of scrub brush and undergrowth.
I'm hoping that it will scare some of the hunters off. With as many people as there is running around in the woods not paying a darn bit of attention, it gets kind of scary. You know the kind of people that walk within 20 feet of you and they never even see you, and I don't wear camo.
