jack rabbit trail pigs????

Has any cal hunters heard of pigs in an area called jack rabbit trail. It is supposedly a ranch about 20 miles outside of Moreno Valley. Could be one of those urban myths

Not a myth. But the pigs are located on property that is now a Riverside County Park= no hunting.
All the pigs in Riverside County live in parks. Their's about 600 of them in the parks along the Santa Ana River too.

Big Horn Canyon Ranch is a fee based hunting facility with pigs & goats.A friend was hunting there a couple of months ago.

but the my question is would i get in trouble by just running the dogs. say it is training not hunting.

This is a Hog I shot out side the Big Horn Ranch 1 month ago. My 2 dogs bayed it about 1/4 mile from the ranch.

Private or public land (I don't know the area at all). Nice hog though

Otherwise I got to think there are jackrabbits the size of hogs in Riverside county

. It bordered the BHCR. Its getting harder to hunt that area...Looks like you did your homework..Congrats...

I have ridden out at Jack Rabbit Trail for years and have never seen any hog sign. Most of it is closed now and trashed from the target shooters.
