Does one need a Ca hunting license to hunt jacks? I ask because my license is expired and i wish to go for jacks with a friend soon, but chances are this season i will not be doing any other hunting. Could have sworn that years ago you could hunt a certain species w/o a license and i seem to recall it being jacks. Maybe i'm mistaken or maybe thats no more, but just wondering so i don't go out and buy a license for nothing this year.
