java boar come back

just got back from a hunting trip....
just wanna share few pics
it weighted 89.5kg(197lbs)

Nice IndoBoar! My Dad told me many stories about Indonesia. He was born in Jakarta and hunted pigs when he was young. Great stories and thanks for sharing.

It's good to see you flinging lead on them again. Congrats! That is a nice boar. What happened to the landcruiser? Did it get replaced by the pickup?

k_rad: we do have a lot of boar in certain areas. everybody has a honeyhole....... they even have more pigs in borneo and sumatra.
hntboar: your father was born in jakarta? wow....... when did he move to states?
L2H: yeah i sold my land cruiser and i bought a double cabin toyota hilux, similar to tacoma in states, but they have 3l commonrail diesel engine.

i shot this wild boar during a weekend hunting competition, the area that u can go hunt, is any place in the province, they set up 3 weighing point in few town. then when you got a boar, u send the pigs to the station.
they have 2 categories, weigh and numbers of pig that u get.
mine got 3rd place, 1st place was 90.5 kgs, 2nd place was 90.3kgs.

Hi IndoBoar-
My Dad moved to Holland back in the fifties and then moved to the states in 1961. He hunting the island till he was bout 19 years old before he moved to Holland. Most of his family stayed in Holland when we moved to the states. He has continued to hunt here in California when he can.
