Should we expect some sort of verification that you have received our app's? My wife keeps asking if I made it in the to 50. I think she is developing a honey do list for me for that weekened just in case I do not make the cut. Either that or she is wanting to make plans with Sancho and needs to know for sure that she is available that weekend! Thanks, Tony

Yes, there are still spots left, but I've got a lot more apps already out there and unaccounted for.
When I first ran this by Barbara, she seemed a little doubtful that I'd be able to fill 50 slots. Not it looks like, not only will we fill it up a month and a half early... we'll have a waiting list!
Anyone still interested, please make sure you read ALL of the information at the beginning of this thread before sending me a PM or EMail asking for an app.

I guess it's time to post this up...
From the looks of things, we're definitely going to fill the hunt... probably before the end of this month. That's cool for JHO, and great for Tejon, but I understand that it's a bummer for those of you who aren't going to make the cutoff.
So how's the cut-off going to work?
Real simple. When I open the 50th paid application, we're full. I'll post an announcement on this thread.
Once I've announced that we are full, please don't continue sending applications. I will create a waiting list, and you can put your name on it if you like.
You do NOT have to send a full application to be added to the waiting list.
I do not plan to return any applications/tags/checks that are sent after I announce that we are full. If you send them anyway, I'll add you to the waiting list, but you'll be out a pig tag and a stamp if you don't get in.
So those of you still sitting on the fence, you may want to do a few extra honey-dos, sacrifice a couple of IN-n-Out burgers, and get those checks in the mail.

Russ told me that you were asking about who I was and I'm glad russ reads this forum everytime we work. I am looking foward to May. I go pick out my 30-06 tomorrow so I can get some practice in before the hunt. Look forward to meeting you and the other hunters.
