We set up a JHO archery hunt with Chopper for the turkey opener March 28 -30 2008.

So far it's just me for that weekend. More are welcome, need 6 more, 7 total tops

Hunt is $550 for two hogs, no trophy fees.$50 off that price if you are a PM member here for the hog hunt . Combo turkey/hog price is $750. $100 of for the combo hunt for PM members here.

2 1/2 days of hunting with furnished cabin included. Bring your own food and drinks. Located near Hollister CA.

Premium membership here on jesses costs less than 20 bucks a year and gives you access to the premium members forum, the ability to use the PM (private message) feature and discounts and other offers from many forum sponsors. kapeesh?

it is almost "GO TIME!" getting busy at work, besides my personal stuff, bow, tags, binos, lucky mojo, rangefinder, sleeping bag, lucky arrow, lucky underwear...what else? i gotta pack early, or i WILL FORGET SOMETHING.

i want to feed the gang one night. maybe a stew, some huge hunks of crusty bread, wine, beer...? or i can bring enough libations to hurt an elephant. either way, everybody probably cooks better than me. i can go to costco and pick up some steak packs....

I would like to get involved in the food and drink thing too. Don and I could fix dinner for everybody one night. Steaks sound good. Looking forward to meeting everybody too. We are the newbies so we can be taken full advantage of...(Don's hair is kinda blonde, does that count?)

Ernie, Don, Cliff,
You guys can meet me at Safeway in Hollister at 2 p.m. on Thursday March 27th or at 10:00 a.m. on Friday the 28th. I dont like to have to go to town more than once so if you can all come the same day, that would be great. Jesse has been there many times and usually comes late or in the middle of the night so I dont worry about him. Ray and Mark are driving up from SoCal on Friday.

If I even walk passed it I could feel the pain.

I would try it...no pain no gain...I guess.

This is going to be an interesting weekend for sure.

Don/Ernie/Cliff, I'll see you guys Thursday. Jesse give me a ring and let me know when you are coming. Ray and Mark are driving up on Friday. Hogs are still hangin tight to the thick stuff but the turkeys are gobblin.
