Yeah - I haven't seen you touch it either...

It's more like you were tackling the bottle.

Yeah he tackled it and when it got back up I took at run at it. The damage was all too apparent Sunday morning

The other thing I really enjoy about hunting Choppers (or any low elevation hunting in CA) and busting brush for a few days is that warm tingling feeling you get to enjoy for many days after. You know, the one that turns into puss covered, ooozing sores that force you to scratch your skin off.

I'm enjoying another nice bout of Poison Oak as I type this.

BDB- Laytex gloves changed every time you wipe or urinate- along with 3 changes of FRESH skibbies a day to prevent you from being called a true Bezerkleite while on the job.

Good Luck! and as Bc says- if there take it like and man and have the steroids injected there first.

Yeah BDB, you took a run at that bottle and then you tried to run over part of another.

Arrowslinger, I nominate you to be in charge of the cabins' fireplace. You had that thing burnin so hot, I don't know if you went thru one cord of wood or two...

BTW, I just tossed my day-pack in the trash. Tomorrow I'm buying a rain coat and the next time I take a hog I'm tossin it on my back and packin' it out like those damn Kiwi's. What else are you going to do when "Life's a boar"?

Lurediver and Gyopo it was a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

Chopper - Thanks for another great weekend up at your place. I had a blast and am looking forward to going back. Hey, how is it you get 7gallons of gas in a 5 gallon gas can? I don't know about you but, I think someones mess'n with ya.

I will have to admit
I was a little nervous on trying it.
I was very surprised on how good it really does taste.
As most know, I never have a problem with pigig going out hunting.
I am just happy he has reached his goal for this year.
NOW My Turn, Hehe
When does turkey season open??

There were 8 of us. 2 collected pigs. 1 was hit but not good enough and got away. 2 others had shots and missed, one due to a bad shot (mine) and one had the pig turned out of the way before the arrow arrived.

Total of 8 hunters.....can't speak for all of 'em, but i saw 3 pigs total & skewered one.
I know we took 2 boars overall, 25% w/ bows ain't bad....but there where a few misses as well.

I have to check my schedule to be sure, but I think I can make the March hunt. Put me on the list. It will be good to meet some new faces. I live in LA. Maybe one of you would like to carpool.

Bighorn,
You just don't get enough do you?

The fact that so many people that didn't kill a hog wanna go back
speaks loads for the property.
We didn't kill hogs for a lack of hogs, but rather other factors that make hunting, well, hunting.

I was under 30 yard from what sounded like a bunch oinking, squeeling and making a sound like they were chewing rocks.
I know the range b/c I ranged it and waited. Then it quited down.
Should I have waited longer?
After a few minutes I decided to try to go down wind and get around them, but it didn't work out
I did hear others elsewhere.
At another location I actually busted one at last light that went to cover, but try as I did, I couldn't see it. But I heard that sneaky little bast*** close by
in the cover of darkness.
Couple minutes earlier, who knows.
If I had waited a little longer at the place I heard them at first.
I know I'm not the only one that had hogs near them or bust at the wrong time.
There was LOTS of sign nearly every location I checked out.

This bowhunting hogs is really something!

Then there was the food and company.

Dave
PS I'm working on my wife for march.
Bighorn, we'll probably see each other before then.

Gyopo, Bighorn

You both on the March list as tentative.

Remember, Chopper has a deal for you if you send in full amount before end of year.
