JHO hunt at Choppers

Thats why you were moved back to the waiting list. If someone else drops out, you will be next to be added. As I mentioned earlier, I don't think Chopper would have a problem with another group in the same month (April), right now would be the best time to reserve another weekend from now Jan to May.

It seems like this thing has gone kind of haywire with poeple gettin in, gettin out, gettin bumped and then gettin back in and gettin out again.

If there are people that want to get in on a hunt in March or April, I have 2 open dates to get a group together. March 25th - 27th or April 29th, 30th May 1st.

Talk about and let me know. To get the $400 deal on the pig hunt, there must be at least 6 guys but not more than 8.

Same deal on the pig/turkey combo, $500 for a chance at 2 pigs and 1 turkey.
Both of these hunt dates fall within the 2005 spring turkey season.

Let me know, I wouldn't mind starting another group just to make sure that we all get out there.

Oh well thats the way it is sometimes Jdhowe75 I also put in my vacation request today so Ill change it.Im in for the other hunt and thanks big tusker for giving us another date to hunt.Jdhowe75 Im good for either of those dates so lets get it rolling will this mean we are in spots 1and 2.if we end up needing a couple of more guys for the $400 I have 2 friends that I know would go but Ill leave them on the backburner until we see how many JHOers want to go Thanks aging Big tusker

OK I'm making the executive decision for Spring hunt #2. March it is! We need to get 4-6 more people to join in on this hunt to get the good deal from Chopper. If I can't get the #'s we need by Jan 1st, I'm going to leave my name on the #1 wait list for the April hunt, send Chopper my deposit and hope they lose one.

Ohhh the confusion...

To clear this up for all...At the beginning of the thread Bubba posted about putting another JHO hunt together. Bubba was one of the original 8 or 9 of us that hunted back in the early part of the year. All year long there has been a lot of support for another hunt at choppers from the original group of guys. When Bubba posted, almost all of the original group said they wanted to go, so that is when Bubba said that the first hunt was going to be for the original group of guys and if any of the original group of guys didn't or couldn't go then that spot would be open for another hunter.

Now I have put together a couple of hunts for JHOer's and the first thing that is a problem is, who is commited to going and who is not. Guys say they are in, and some guys say they want to be in. Some guys say they are in but only if momma says it's OK. And, some guys say they are in if they can get the time off of work. It can be confusing to figure out when you get three or four pages into a thread.

If someone was to look at most of the hog hunt threads where there is discussion about choppers, people would see going all the way back to April that ALL of the original JHOer's from choppers hunt said they wanted to go again and when was it going to happen. Most of us posted several times we wanted to do the hunt again. This is why Bubba posted that the hunt would first be open to the original JHO-8 and then open to any and all if any of the original banditos couldn't or didn't want to go.

I think everyone should know by now that the most current list of hunters and waiting list is the post from Bubba dated Oct 21, 2004 at 12:23pm. That would be the latest and the greatest and as good as gold.

There are spots open to hunters for the Dec 10th hunt. As you can see that for the Dec 10th hunt there are four spots open with three hunters on the waiting list. Three hunters on the waiting list are part of the original JHO-8 from the hunt from earlier this year. Bubba will not put us on the "in" list until something like Nov 1st, that way any JHOer who wants to attend this hunt would have a preference over the three on the waiting list whom have already been to choppers. Now come Nov 1st, if there are open spots available for the Dec hunt then the three on the waiting list will get moved into those open spots. I think this is very fair for any and all.....Except for me, BDB and Slinger want in NOW!!! LOL, and just in case anyone missed it....LOL, LOL, LOL!!

Lastly as I end my tyrade (sp?) JDhowe made a decision to start another JHOer Chopper hunt and has locked in the dates of March 25-27 with Chopper. So far, Cal Hunter is also going.

We have three hunts with open spots for Dec 10 and Mar 25.
