O.K., here's the story. Tons of fresh sign, I mean TONS of it after the recent rains but no hogs were taken. I don't know if it was the weather, the moon, or just bad luck but we didn't even see a hog on Friday or Sunday. And only 1 on Saturday. A good boar but he stopped in the brush below the ridgeline one guy was on and there was no way to get to him. This was the first pig hunt of the fall and as far as killing goes, it sucked. But it's not called killing, it's called hunting and for the most part, they were impressed with the accomodations, the ranch, all the sign they saw, the good bucks in the rut and the mountain lion one of them saw. But most of all, they were impressed with the safari wagon.

No doubt, that thing rocks !!! Too bad about no killin but glad to hear the sign is there. I'm still hoping to make the Dec hunt (60/40 in favor at this time) so I'll be hoping the hogs stay around

It's more 'bout the experience than the killin'.....seeing the mixed bag of game & 'specially a mtn lion will have those guys talkin' about that trip for along time.
A ride in the safari wagon is worth the price of admition alone....not to mention the view from the "cabin".
Lookin' forward to the next trip.

First-time, long-time here.
Bighorn convinced me to register this past Monday night.

Can I go on the December hunt ?
My wife said "ok." That doesn't happen easily often.
I don't any hunting insight b/c this would be my first bowhunt for the swine.
I've hunted them w/rifle. I did a December hunt in Paso once. Cold weather, hot hunting!

Let me know whom to contact, send money to, etc.

Thanks,
I'll check my calendar. Since I'm already going on a TX hunt in December, I'll have to pass it by the wife, too.
