Hey Chopper,

I noticed that Bobcat are open season right now. Have you seen any on the property? Is it cool to shoot one if we have tags?

Orso, if you have a tag and get a shot at one with your bow, Go for it.

Hey Chopper... time to start making us drool with anticipation. Tell us about all the hogs creeping around, eating all those acorns and fattening up for a tough winter!

Even if it ain't so... make it up. I'm so amped for this hunt, I can't stand myself!

I wish I was a bow hunter! I had the privelage of hunting Chopper's ranch about a year and a half ago for quail. It's an awesome ranch and I'd like to head back for a pig hunt. Hopefully someday I'll get into bow hunting! Have fun guys!

yotegetter-

There is no better time than now- Christmas is here
<

You can get entry complete for all of your needs for $500-700 Dollars (pro shop) or less via Ebay. I did last year for Deer- and low and behold the bucks were not in the beds like they were supposed to be this year,
<

Are you located in the north or south part of the state? There is room availiable for the March hunt for first grabs (arrow slinging). You have plenty of time to get set up and proficent with JHO as the answer book for any of your questions on your journey.

I must warn you- the fist arrow you let loose will bt far be the last- That you can take to the bank as a true fortune cookie.

Dan

PS- the Mansion is "calling you" back

Chopper: Right now I don't know if I will be getting there at about 9pm on Thursday, o-dark-thirty on Friday or Friday at 1pm. All depends on work and weather on can take the day off Friday. I will know by Wednesday next week though. I'll touch base with you mid next week and see what we can work out with my arrival time.

I am opening this December hunt up to start as early as Thursday morning. Which means anyone who can do it, could come to the ranch as early as 8 p.m. Wednesday night the 8th. That would give you Thursday thru Sunday. The only thing I ask is that if several of you take me up on this offer, try to arrive at the same time to lessen my trips up and down the mountain.

This will give you a bit more time to locate the hogs as it has been really cold the last few days and they hide real well in this weather.

No crown for me. I'll be bringing MGD and either rum or Jack D to mix with coke. Been getting a little taste for the good tequila after the last couple of outings though, may have to bring a bottle of that. I know Spec will probably be bringing some also if the past is any predictor. My head hurts already
<

Like you, I'll be sticking the first hog over 40 pounds that ventures within range. Since we can pop two if we get the chance, I can't see letting a tender little piggy walk by
<

Can't wait to tip a glass and chase hogs will all you guys again. It's gonna be a long week and a half.........

I am by no means going to cry like my Oakley friend Sierra however I will be dreaming of sweet little piggies all the way to Sydney Australia. Have a good time while I'm gone and shoot straight!
