PIGIG, We'll probably get to Chopper's around 7:30-8:00pm Wednesday night, we're not leaving Sacramento until around 5:00pm so I'd give us a couple of hours!

For the guys showing up to hunt Thursday, you'll need to help gather firewood for the cabin.

Also, I'm headed to vegas tonight and will be away from the puter till Tuesday.

I put away a bottle of To-kill-ya last night.
Sierrabrava, Bravasierra or something like that.
I don't touch the stuff anymore, so you guys can have at it.
It's a gold-ish, green, agave color. So you guys can have
camouflage puke.

Any of you guys ever try Soju?
It's a Korean liquor.
smilieato(or rice) based,java script:emoticon(':drunk singing:')
smilie
Goes well w/grilled meat.

Pigig...we can either meet ya at the store or up at the cabin. Sent ya an e-mail w/ my cell #.
Gyopo...never heard of soju, but odds are i'll drink it.
<

Lurediver...be sure to take the suction tips off your arrows before we go.
<
I saw ya shootin' the windows at the store the other day and when ya put the broadheads on, don't lick the tips.

Alright, this'll be another fun trip......bring plenty of refreshments & food, we'll have plenty to celebrate.

News FLash:

BDB is screwed !!!!

While tuning and doing some broadhead shooting yesterday evening, one of my power cables snapped. Doesn't appear to be any damage but now I have to scramble to try and get a new cable in time. Then it's install, inspect and then retune. AAAArrrrrggggghhhhhh !!!!

BDB...Sorry to hear about the cable. Maybe if you didn't shoot that alien lookin' thing, parts wouldn't be so hard to find. j/k Never shot it myself so I can't attest to how it shoots. I hope you get everything set up before next week!

Normally they shoot like a champ and worry free. Most of the talk about Oneida's being unreliable and prone to break or go out of tune came a short time in the companys history where there were some management and transition issues leading to quality problems. My first Oneida was long before this quality issue and I shot it worry free for 12 years. This new one is great and they have worked out most of the kinks of the new design and found a fix for the premature cable wear issue.

I do love small companies though. The parts are being Fedex'd overnight with Saturday delivery so I should have them tomorrow AM and have lots of time to put it back together and get some shooting in. And with a bill to me of $0.00

Hey guys,

BDB is just married and already theres talk of "premature wear". That's no bueno.

All of you compound shooters need to come to the traditional side. Problem with string?....Change in the field and keep hunting. OHHHYAAAA.

I hope theres some "Pappy's" up at the ranch. My buddy gave me some elk and I might even have some moose left. I figured I'd bring some up.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news to the guys that weren't there last trip but......I SNORE, and Arrowslinger and Pigig (and I guess everyone else) says I snore pretty loud.

Is there drinkable water out there or do we need to bring our own?
What sort of stuff should I bring other than my personal stuff?
Lanterns, spoons, chair, etc.
What's the food situation?
Is someone going to be den mother or do we fend for ouselves?

Orso, I snore like a MO-FO. That's what others tell me.
Doesn't bother me though.
Have a good weekend

Yeah, fill your cooler w/ ice on the way there....but chopper has an ice machine for cold drinks and to ice down your hogs. Orso, chopper should have some pappy's for us. These guys snore horribly, last time they drove me outside, then i had to relocate to the end of the house sleeping in the grass away from all doors and windows.......
