Franklin, Now you've done it....You've crossed the line. You can insult my huntin' skills, you can insult my moma, you can even say I'm ugly...But when you start saying we can't cook, I take issue with that. I would put our teams cooking up against most and feel confident we would come out VICTORIOUS.

Sorry, I just had to knock you down a notch. It's getting personal. LOL

OK with me A.S.

just add...
shortest amount of time.

I don't intend to spend the whole weekend stalking killing, cleaning and skinning. I plan to spend most of my time just hanging around the cabin.

enjoying the scenery!

drinking Margaritas!

exchanging recipies!

Maybe I aught to get one of those video cameras there should be a camera man on each team. Call my secretary! have her call OLN I want That Barta guy's camera man he puts up with anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry ORSO: Nothing personal here just a little button pushing all in fun!!!
Arrowslinger must know he's got the advantage over me because this is my first trip to Chopper's and I have yet to draw blood this year. In fact I forget this is either shotguns or bows right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Franklin3...Archery only!

And as far as cookin' goes...Well I can hold my own with Emeril himself if you want me to, but if all you women want to stay around the cabin and cook all day while swappin' stories 'bout your husbands, go for it. The men will be out drawin' blood with the gifts and talents the good Lord gave us.

I'm up for a March vs. April Tally!

I ain't sayin' that I'm God's gift to hunting...far from it, but I'm down for a little trash talkin' every now and then.

(Now all you April guys know that this is my first pig and it's going to be with a bow. I'm a pretty smart shot and I'll hike and hunt till I can't go no more but any help in the field would be appreciated.)

Never bet against the Machine- (Cheers AS
<
) Bet on the hand that is open for all to see live Seven Arrowed Stud or Choppers Hold'em.

I will either bet or fold after the March hunt.
<
And alot depends on what type of knife BDB will be sporting this time.

Now that Sierra has me all fired up in the campfire about POKER. Do I need to bring the chips and cards or will I be chasin' my kills long into the night? I wouldn't want to take anybody's money.

Oh I gotta take exception as this thread here has turned a sour note in my craw!
What I meant A.S. was I plan On having my tags filled early. but since you got all the notoriety what with having been here so many many times before and theres no arguing with results. I never took much pictures before but how do I know you aint got a pen somewhere on the ranch that you keep stocked up. And I'm really a newbie here so I can't say anything cept i see you can hunt and my hats off to you, I'm surprised the hogs don'tr just roll over and give up when you come around. but I'm far from giving up the farm here as I've been around a bit and i was killen hogs while you were still crawling. by the way I would bet any amount that my grandma took more big game than your whole group has so hold nothing against women hunters. If she was alive I'd want her on my team for sure when the chips were down. Myself I will leave it at this. If the hogs are there on the 25th and the opportunity presents itself I will fill my tags. I just hope that at my age and "shape" I don't have to crawl any tunnels for any distance. I'll call for that dog first.
We need to mix this up a bit for fun though. Lets slam equipment for a while.
what are you shooting anyway Poison tip darts? probably some of that new super sonic speed skinny titanium tipped carbon star wars stuff?
Women! man you found my hot button with that one!
So what can you cook anyway?
Mac an Cheese?
You're forcing me to go practice you know!
Might even stop by the gym and try an get my legs in shape!
Who's in this with me anyway?
I gotta carry the flag for March by my lonsome?

Fella, i'm just tryin' to create a little competitive nature here...figured if you guys are worried about shooting the big hogs you'll leave a couple for April. To tell ya the truth, i'll arrow the first legal hog to walk by....yep, seeing how a 6 pound pig is legal..i'll shoot it, it's a smaller target & will fit just right on the BarBQ. So best of luck to the March hunters (even Pigig)
<
Glad to see Franklin & CalHunter are ready to shoot'em up in March
<

But one question for ya, i'm from Tennessee and just a wee bit slow....but what in the world is a "craw"? Maybe you shouldn't answer that, doesn't sound like pleasant place.
Cheers fellas & watch out piggies, JHO is comin'

Looks we are getting a little cagey waiting for the hunts.

Don't forget, Chopper's place is a good-sized piece of land.
You can hunt the whole weekend and not run into another hunter.
These hogs are not Babe. They don't wait around awaiting your decision to
shoot them or not.

Remember in December,8 of us tagged 2. We all had encounters, thus the high repeat custumor rate.
I'm shooting the first one that gives me a shot.

March madness. My wife said she will make some Korean BBQ beef f you all want some. Let me know b/c my wife makes it from scratch. I'll also bring the SOJU(a Korean liquor).

I'm not a card player, so I'm no good there. Although, I acquired a DVD that's about card playing. It says "HUSTLER" on it.

Don't forget that Pigig is on the March hunt. That guy can flat out find boars.

I'm shooting compund.
Any traditional hunters in the group?

Sorry but this is getting me rolling, I'm laughing so hard reading these posts I'm starting to cry. (that hapopens when you cross over the hill).
A.S. What part of Tennessee you from? I spent some time there in the early seventies and met some great people. Inspired my lifelong interest in the war between the States. McNary County South west of Memphis just over the border from from Jackson. A little place called Selma. There's a family there who descend from a very famous A.S.
Anyway that craw that got something stuck in it!
I'm not exactly sure myself.
My Grandpa used to always get something stuck in his and it meant you had fallen a bit out of favor or he wasn't going to let you get into his worm bed or something.

Gyopo: Bring it on tell your wife thanks.

Somebody mention Poker?

Word to the wise:::watch out for Gyopo, that dude bring some strange beverages w/ 'em. If he passes you a bottle, better read what it is first...might end up missing your mornin' hunt .
<
but Gyopo, leave that card playin' DVD for us.
<

Franklin, I'm from East TN--Knoxville....nice people, lots of whitetails, & some good scenery......but i'd rather live here.

Another bright idea for some friendly competition, any bets on how many times i get my company car (Grand Prix) stuck at Choppers.....

Go ahead and get it stuck all you want I'll bring my company car (F250 V10 4X4)and pull you right out, no charge!
It might be snotty if the rains keep up but April is so far far away who knows what the weather will be by then!

I wouldn't worry to much about the numbers of available hogs in April.
They're transient critters and never stay in one place so tyhe ones we saw on the game cam picks from a few weeks ago are now living somewhere else and a whole new group has moved in, by the March hunt they too will be gone and who knows what or how many will be waiting for us.

I too like them 30lber's A.S. makes for the best bbq pork you ever had!
Just takes way to many of them to fill the freezer and at 2 bills a pop that's some mighty spensive pork!

Chopper,
Do you and Crown have an exclusive relationship, or do you also drink
stuff from across the pond (Sotland)?
If kilts don't scare you, I have a bottle you might want to empty out.

damn guys i am gone for 4 days and everyone is calling everyone names, people are mooning me with cartoons, Korean liquor being delivered with dinner, talk about poker, shooting 30lb pigs, getting company cars stuck, people getting shit stuck in places I don’t what to know about. Some people that shoot, some that cant walk, someone is bring a wookie from star wars made out of chrome, pie hole’s and knives, some thing about Tennessee, women with hot buttons, no one can cook, HERE WE GO AGAIN another first class hunt at choppers.

all I can say it is real hard to beat Bubba's cooking on the last few trips
<
, but ya know I have been around awhile and I can cook, walk all day, get my truck stuck, chase hot buttons on women (or at least the one I have at home) stir up crap with everyone, drink like a fish and still swim thru tunnels in the morning and night. the only problem I have is I can not figure out why all the pigs on choppers property want to just walk right up to AS, Now I know of a pair of pink panties that are hangin over a road in a certain area, I think I am starting to put things together. Everyone in the march hunt needs to bring a pair of panties from their woman and----- hey Kirk do we need to wear them or just carry them with us please let us know

Ok Gentlemen, its getting close...I will miss the last day though. Sister just changed the christenning of my niece to April 3rd. So I will be leaving Saturday night. I always try to bring something new, but since there are some favorites I will be cooking Chicharones and bringing the Cazuela for the carnitas. If there's an extra night in there, I will cook some Costias Rancheros (if you like Chicharones, you'll die over this one) Otherwise I can save it for another trip.

We'll have the Mathews crew out here in April, a Q2 (AS), LX (Bubba), and the new Switchback (Brian). Catch Us if You Can...

An FYI for all you Pig killers:

A lot of you were talkin tri-tip steaks for dinner up at Choppers...Vons/Pavillions has'em on sale for $2.50 a pound right now. I just bought a couple 5 pounders and they look pretty nice. Now, if I pop a bottle of Cabernet to drink with my steak, I'm I gonna get some nickname that ryhmes with wussy?

Also, April guys, when exactly do ya all plan on showin up at Choppers?

Zimm
