***dreamin' of a new Switchback***

I'll be up there Wednesday afternoon. I live in Redlands and if anybody (Jesse) wants to go up together I'll be down for that. If not 6 hour drive is nothin' alone. I can cook with the best but it seems like I just need to bring the staples. (Chips & Salsa) I'd also volunteer to bring up the charcoal and all the fixin's for the Weber if need be. Just let me know. We can nail down the rest of the details as it gets closer.

If I get off Work Wednesday, March 30th like I should at 7 p.m.
then the earliest you can meet me would be around 8 p.m.
First guy upsets me, then you can all meet me on Friday at noon.

which brings up a good point about the contest we MAY be having just for bragging rights, all of you April guys get an extra day to hunt! so we (the march guys) get to deduct 1 day of our choice from your total harvest

so if you guys say harvest 1 on Thursday 1 Friday 4 on Saturday 0 Sunday, we get to deduct say Friday and your total harvest count would be 2

March team is a day short!
Well that takes the cake don't it!
I already arranged to take the 24th off work so me and sixof1or2 could come down early the 24th. or even late on the 23rd. Maybe get the bbq fired up.
get out a little early and collect the hogs that choppers getting tied up for us.
Hell maybe even help him tie them up!
I guess you just have to watch out when your dressing out the animals on this ranch as you never know what sharp objects might be lurking around.
What do you think Chopper? we could help out with some chores on the place maybe. A big ranch always needs help with chores. Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Automotive repair, Electronics, Telephone wiring,

Wish I'd been in a position to secure a spot for one of these hunts. My bow looks all dejected, laying there by the door just dying to go out and get bloody. Reading all this chatter is getting my jealous and stuff.

Guys...PLEASE READ!!!

For those of us who haven't gotten Choppers subtle hints.

Arrivial times:
March 24th 8PM for the March hunt
March 30th 8PM for the April hunt

It'll help if Chopper doesn't have to make a thousand trips to the gate to let us all in. Please don't take advantage of Choppers generosity and push the arrival times too much.

Chopper thank you for extending these hunts from your normal two day hunt to allow us a few extra opprotunities to take piggies!

I just ordered my new Carbon Venture Blind with Safari System. That's a bunch of leafy looking stringy things hanging all over it. supposed to comfortably allow for 2-3 hunters. Will arrive plenty of time before the march date. Need to get a nice flat spot near some good tree cover and set up to call in a monster beard with 2" spurs.
Need a liitle chair one of those backpack models would be cool.
Anybody know if there's such a thing as a wireless microwave oven?

Never heard of a gas powered Microwave Oven but I hear if you get one of those dish network thingies you can watch the Busch race on Saturday and the Nextel Cup race on Sunday AND hunt turkey at the same time! Clips right on to the blind!

It would sure make callin' those toms in a whole lot easier. Get a good video, set up a kick a$$ surround system and let them strut right in.

Come to think of it...kinda takes the fun out of it. Give me a box call and a few diaphrams any day!

Now if I could just perfect my hog callin' I'd be set for April! (Here piggie..piggie..piggie!)

You need to talk to arrowslinger I beleive I heard he wears some sort of attractant scent or something but it's a secret and he won't share it with me.
Has something to do with pink panties.
I understand the hogs flock to him and he has some good pictures posted of the hogs but none of the panties.

Pink Panties recipe




Scale ingredients to servings
1 wild pig
1 bottle of crown royal
1/2 ice chest of ice
2/2 liter bottle's of diet Pepsi





Combine all ingredients in a blender with half a cup of crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Serve on a 378 grain arrow at 250 ft per second.
