JHO November Photo Contest, "Water"

The November 05 Photo contest is themed water. It can be anything to do with water. The photos can be creative, artistic, scenic, or unique, as long as they adhere to the water theme. Submit your photos into this thread, the contest will last until Wed Nov 30, 10:00pm CST.

Once the photo submission period is over, we will vote for 1 week and choose a winner! Jesse will provide the winner of the contest with a spudz lens cloth and either a memory card or a memory card reader from the JHO Store.

Please reference and abide by the Rules and Procedures of the contest. If you have any questions you may email me or ask your question in a thread.

So start thinking about how you want to photograph water, or pull out some pics that you already have. Here are a couple examples just to get you thinking. Additionally, some good ideas could be drops of water, rain, snow, fog, or steam would be good and legal candidates.

Holy Cow, I give UP! tonka, those are some AWESOME pictures!! I love the boat best; prolly 'cause it looks so much like areas I've hung around all my life.

This is Ossabaw Island Marsh taken just a week ago. There's a gator in the water just below the bottom of the frame, but he wasn't exposing much, so I didn't get much of a gator pic on him. Anyhow.......

Thanks. This is back in a little finger on Waconda Lake. It was wright out of the movie Deliverance. Damned if they don't fish with dinamite there. Behind that old boat was an old shack that someone lived in, If you can believe that.

Here's some water of the solid kind. Took this while hunting with my son in Northern NH last weekend. When it gets cold fast, the water in the ground will freeze and will "grow" into "ice hairs"
Of course my son was having more fun stomping all of them back into the earth instead of hunting
