JHO/Tejon Archery Hunt - June 1-3

Hey guys,

If you requested an app for the June 1-3 Tejon/JHO archery hunt, I sent them today. There weren't many packets, and right now I'm only looking at about six hunters. That's fine, but the hunt can handle twice that many!

I need to have those things completed and back to Barbara by May 23, so there's still time..but it's passing quick.

If you requested a packet for the archery hunt and don't receive it by Tuesday of next week, please shoot me an email. If you want to request a packet...same deal. Read the instructions in the JHO/Tejon hunt thread at the top of this forum and send me the appropriate information.

This hunt is one hell of a deal, by the way. For the $400 fee, we have one guide for the group, lodging in the Vaquero cabin (very comfy, just ask anyone who's stayed there), and all meals! Real meals, too... not some granola bars and peanut butter sandwiches.

It's first payed, first served, so if you got an app...send it in. If you want one, get it quick and turn it around quick.

Personally...I'm ready!

JT, as of right now NOBODY is paid except for me.

I have a handful of applications sent out already, and a few more (including Q2Dude's) going out today. I don't like to announce other people's intentions, so I won't post the other names.

As usual, I'm not holding spots for anyone. The only way to secure a place on the hunt is to get your completed app and a check back to me. When I get 12 paid apps, the window closes.

I am working on getting my brother in law an out of state license and pig tag so that we can sign up for this one. I am just afraid that when he spends the 200 bucks for lic and tags then the hunt will be sold out. I gotta time it just perfect.

Move quick, but as of right now I don't have any paid apps in my hand. Bob Lloyd (blloyd1) told me his was in the mail, but I haven't received it yet. Lots more interest since opening it up to non-JHO (via Barbara), and I'm sending out another bunch of apps today.

We're halfway through April. In about a month and a half, we'll be at the deadline.

I have two paid apps in hand, and it looks like three more in the mail (Q2, wife, and friend). That leaves us a little shy of the halfway mark to our eight hunter minimum.

We can hold 12 hunters on this hunt.

I will be heading down to fish and game tomorrow to get an out of state license for my bro in law and will be putting our apps in the mail. maybe even fed ex.

Oh yeah and I will also be sending a seperate package for the Hamslam so dont mix em up LOL . Thats what Im talking about .....back to back pighunts.

Ahh man, I am on the fence for this one. I will just be getting back from a weekend of "Oh crap I'm turning 40" with Backcountry for his birthday in Vegas but I want some serious revenge on those pigs after the last trip. I'll check with the warden tonight and see what she says.

We're now at eight paid-up hunters for the June Archery hunt. I have room for four more. Once we hit the limit, additional paid apps will go onto the stand-by list. The absolute cut-off is May 21.

I'm pretty sure that everyone who has requested an application packet has received one. If not, get me an email ASAP. Make sure to specify that this is for the TEJON ARCHERY HUNT.
