Joice island hogs

well got the letter in the meail for the island for the weekend of april 12-13. i missed a big hog last year. this year will be different. anyone else get drawn? good luck

I totally forgot to put in this year... again! Just as well as I don't think I'll have any time to get over there anyway, but I would like to do that hunt one day before I'm too old to wade through that mud.

My son got drawn for samw weekend so i will be there with him. Will be there Sat. afternoon as he has baseball in morning. I have been in there 2x and remember it hard finding pigs late in draw.

well ill see ya there. are they allowing dogs this year. if so , then the big hunting will be a lot harder later in the draw. anyway good luck ill be there both days

I was gonna put in but my hunting buddy can't get a hunting pass from his wife and it no fun draggin your own pig.LOL

They are allowing dogs. I have previously owned pig dogs and probably wouldnt want to take my dogs in there because of all the deep water etc. It would take some time to get to bayed hogs with waders. On the other hand, might catch one off of the road. I will be there both days only later the first day. I know, 2 years ago someone brought in dogs and was successfull.
