Hey, I stared a thread in regards to this, did you score one? I'm trying to gather any intel I can get my hands on since you can't scout the area and Google earth has been almost useless, let me know if you scored a pass or if you have any tips etc for hunting the area, I hear it's muddy so I got my mud boots ready. Can you use lead slugs?

I didnt see your thread. I did the paperwork for about 15 guys and no one has gotten anything in the mail. I was hoping someone would have drawn but it doesnt look good. I live pretty close to Grizzly Island and I was going to check it out but the weather has been horrible. I'm not sure about the lead slugs but we are very far from any condor.

Yeah on the hunting permit it said I was one of 521 applicants so it's a huge deal to get drawn, I'm drawn for April 18-19 hunt, two pig limit, but if you guys can provide more intel I'd appreciate it- haven't seen a public land pig in two years so ANY info is appreciated, how is the striper fishing out there? Lead ammo will verify.
