Walked all day and the only live critter that I could get a picture of, something about the stare that kinda gets to ya.

Nice pic...Granted I will NEVER be posting a pic of a snake that close...no no not me, not gonna happen. Now I might post one of a snake that has been chopped to pieces with a slingblade, but that will be it....What type snake is that. Doesn't look like one of those copperheaded water rattlers we have here in lower AR

Just a king snake. Right??

I kinda feel like g-hog, too, but I will let a king snake walk (or slither.)

It' a harmless garter snake we have in the Northwest...I don't believe that I would take a pic that close of any other snake... these are small so no problem...we don't have any poisonous snakes here.

Nice picture, but add me to the list of people who probably will NOT be posting a picture of a snake!!!

Yeah, I remember those little snakes from when I lived in WA state; my cat would catch them and bring them up onto the deck.
