From the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife site:

"We are in the process of testing the Elk Lottery Draw process for this year.

The 2010 Elk Hunt Lottery winners have not yet been drawn.

The drawing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 5th and the results will be posted on this web site by close of business on that day.

Please check back later to see if you have been selected."

My name is in the hat. I've got a cousin that drew a cow tag a couple of years ago. Sure would be a great excuse to go and visit the family!

The website is saying the results will be posted by 5 pm EST Wednesday. Man, the deadline was last Friday and results will be tomorrow. Wonder what all those western states are doing when it takes them a month or two to do drawings. Not to mention California doesn't even have an online system!

That's a great success story out there. I've read some good articles on the elk herd there, and it looks to be doing great! Good luck to you all!!!
