Watch Inchr48, be. Careful you don't offer him some elk jerky. He'll follow you home and you won't be able to get rid of him!

I drew LEA - Hazard for my hunt area in the 7/5 drawing. Waiting for my first choice in Outfitters to confirm an opening, then some more plans can be made. Shooting the bow almost every day out to 60 yards.

Congratulations on the draw inchr48! Reading all of this is getting me pumped up for my archery cow elk hunt in southeastern Arizona. Bummer that you have to wait until mid October and after a bull General season but it sounds like you have a good chance going with an outfitter. Arizona hunt is August 2nd - 30th, before any gun or bull hunting so even though I'll be doing DIY on public land I like my chances. Pictures and a story of a successful hunt is expected but a good hunt story either way as always is appreciated. Best of luck on your hunt!

Inchr48, most of that area is abandoned and reclaimed strip mines so for the most part only obstacles to shoot thru or around should be maybe tall grass. Are you still trying to hook up with Hurley?

I contacted him after the hunt area draw was out. He answered my e-mail, and said that he was checking with the others as to their draw results. If you could put a good word in for me, I'd appreciate it. I've got a deposit waiting to be sent out.
