Pick up a copy of the DFG publication, guide to hunting wild pigs in CA. In there it lists all the public land areas open to hunting that have possible populations of wild pigs, pages 26-37. Notice there that most all these spots have comments something like this:

"Wild pigs are probably only transient visitors to this wildlife area."

"Wild pigs have recently been found in the area but are still at very low numbers."

"Wild pigs are very scarce and probably transient."

Kreyenhagen Peak is a steep brushy spot that has some access from the road and has some water sources in the area but in low rain years might not have any water at all. It takes several trips to figure out the lay of the land and where the pigs could be or be traveling. Most wild pigs are primarily nocturnal, travel to and from bedding areas to the food and water which can sometimes only be found on posted private property, at night and use the brushy nasty stuff as bedding cover.
Good luck, but IMHO you would do better hiring a guide or trying FHL.
