La Panza Cow Elk Hunt

Obtained a La Panza 2nd period cow elk tag by default as an alternate. Any pointers?

Just a headsup, the La Panza herd is mainly on private ranches. You can see animals any day by driving the back roads, but they are untouchable unless you have a ranch or guide lined up to allow that type of hunt.
