Went fishing at Lake Pardee (out of Ione) yesterday. It was my first time there. Had read some good things about it in "Fishing and Hunting News" and "Western Outdoor News".
I fished from the shore by the marina. Used charteuse and rainbow powerbaits with glitter. It seemed to do the trick. I caught 4 nice size fish in 2.5 hours.
The guy about 40 yards to my left caught a ton of fish. He was fishing the same bait, however, he said there was a "hole" in the lake where he was fishing and the fish tend to gather up in it. I believe him since I saw him catch several fish while I was there. Next time I go back, I will have to try that spot.
